Why did I take this class?
Honestly, I choose to take this course because I really enjoy Mrs. Ferenchak's classes. I have also been interested by screen printing. It was a lot more fun then the little DIY at home kits I've done in the past.

One thing I struggled with in class was doing smooth prints. When I printed on paper I had to be very careful not to get bubbles on my work. If I was not sure about my pressure I had gaps or missed parts of my art.

One goal I had was to make lots of colorful art. I succeeded in this by experimenting with how colors could be layered or blended. My juicebox was an attempt to marble yellow and red which did not work. My fan art was a successful attempt with the blue and green titles.

My artwork is successful because I do many attempts. Many of my first tries, totally failed or looked awful. I had problems with smudging but was able to fix it. I found that the more I did, the better they looked.
